Actress in ’suicide bid’
Sharanya Bhagyaraj, budding actress and daughter of actor-director K Bhagyaraj, allegedly attempted suicide Tuesday night by consuming poison.
According to police, she has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai and she is under observation.
Sharanya, whose mother Poornima was a top heroine in South Indian movies during the 80s, had made her debut in a Tamil movie ‘Paarijatam’, opposite Prithviraj, a top Malayalam actor.
A failed love affair is believed to be the reason behind her taking the extreme step.
