Olympics torch: Chinese envoy meets Patil

China’s Ambassador to India has met Home Minister Shivraj Patil on the issue of security for the Olympic torch, which is to pass through Delhi next month.
”I have expressed my gratitude and thanks to the Indian government. I thanked the home minister for providing security to our embassy,” said Zhang Yang, Chinese Ambassador to India.
On Wednesday, NDTV reported that Beijing is very concerned about Tibetan protestors disrupting the relay and according to sources, has not ruled out calling off the India leg if they are not guaranteed foolproof security.
China seems to be very worried after security breach at its embassy last week and it has already protested against Tibetans storming embassy.
